In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to close the distillery to the public and will not offer tours until further notice.
We understand this might be frustrating, but the health and wellbeing of our staff and visitors are our top priority at this time. We’ll keep in touch through our website and social media and look forward to reopening soon.

Baton Rouge Distilling is a craft micro-distillery founded, engineered and operated by a husband and wife team, both LSU alumni. We are the first operating distillery in the capitol city since prohibition.
Interesting spirits are our passion! Our tiny 52-gallon pot still is the perfect size for our experiments, allowing us to test recipes and expand production when we discover something exciting. Our first spirit, Strawberry Brandy, was introduced in 2016, and is available at our tasting room and in local stores.
We will expand our product offering in 2020, with our first rye whiskey almost ready to be bottled and our first bourbon currently aging in an oak barrel. We also plan to keep experimenting with other fruits brandies like plum or cherry, as well as agave spirit.
