Each batch is a journey
Baton Rouge Distilling is a craft micro-distillery founded, engineered, and operated by a husband and wife team, both LSU alumni. We are the first operating distillery in the capitol city since prohibition.
Interesting spirits are our passion! Our tiny 52-gallon pot still is the perfect size for our experiments, allowing us to test recipes and expand production when we discover something exciting. Our first spirit, Strawberry Brandy, was introduced in 2016, and is available at our tasting room and in local stores.
We expanded our production in 2020 with our first Rye Whiskey and Louisiana Bourbon. The first batches have been bottled and were released in May 2021.
